Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Ultrasound Technologist to join our medical team. The Ultrasound Technologist will be responsible for operating ultrasound equipment to produce and record images of various parts of the body to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced medical environment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform ultrasound examinations on patients following established protocols
- Operate ultrasound equipment to capture images of the body's internal organs and tissues
- Ensure images are of high quality and accurately document the patient's condition
- Provide preliminary findings to the interpreting physician as needed
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of all medical information
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient care is coordinated and efficient
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree in ultrasound technology or related field
- ARDMS or CCI certification in ultrasound technology
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as an Ultrasound Technologist
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
