Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Ultrasound Technologist to join our medical team. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will be responsible for operating ultrasound equipment to produce diagnostic images for physicians to interpret. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform ultrasound scans on patients according to physician's orders
- Ensure the quality of images produced meets diagnostic standards
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Collaborate with physicians to determine necessary scans and procedures
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines when operating ultrasound equipment
- Assist with scheduling and coordinating patient appointments
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
- Completion of an accredited ultrasound technology program
- ARDMS certification preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
