Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in their homes. Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients for any side effects or changes in condition.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to the specific needs of each client.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to enhance their quality of life.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Lift and assist clients as needed to ensure their mobility and comfort.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals regarding client needs and progress.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in caregiving, nursing homes, or assisted living facilities is preferred.
- Knowledge of medication administration and care plans is highly desirable.
- Experience with memory care techniques is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Ability to lift and assist clients safely while adhering to proper lifting techniques.
- A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
- Certification in CPR or first aid is beneficial but not required.
