Position Summary
The Director of Business Planning and S&OP is responsible for leading the integrated business planning process across the organization. This role oversees demand planning, supply planning, inventory optimization, and financial alignment to ensure the company meets customer demand efficiently and profitably. The role acts as a key liaison between Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain to drive strategic alignment and improve forecast accuracy, service levels, and operational efficiency.
Position Responsibilities
Lead and manage the end-to-end S&OP process, ensuring alignment between demand, supply, and financial plans.
Partner with cross-functional teams to develop a consensus forecast and align operational plans to meet business objectives.
Drive continuous improvement in forecasting accuracy, inventory management, and supply chain responsiveness.
Analyze business trends and key performance indicators (KPIs) to guide strategic and tactical decision-making.
Facilitate monthly S&OP meetings and provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
Align long-term business strategy with short- and medium-term operational capabilities.
Own and manage integrated planning tools and systems, ensuring effective data flow and reporting.
Mentor and develop a high-performing team of planners and analysts.
Position Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
MBA or advanced degree preferred
At least 8 years in logistics and supply chain management, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership position.
Proven experience in leading S&OP or IBP processes in a complex, cross-functional environment.
Strong problem-solving and process optimization skills
