Job Summary: The Facilities Cleaner is responsible for the overall cleanliness of the building, including offices, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas within the warehouse daily. In addition to the normal daily cleaning, occasional deep cleaning of certain areas will be required. The Facilities Cleaner requires management of the cleaning process throughout the entire facility, including the inventory of all necessary supplies.
Responsibilities:
1. Cleaning and Sanitizing
o Clean and disinfect kitchens, including appliances.
o Dust and clean the common office spaces and conference rooms.
o Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, and mirrors.
o Sweep, mop and vacuum floors in the warehouse, offices, breakrooms, and restrooms.
o Maintain cleanliness of windows and doors, both inside and out.
2. Warehouse
o Clean and sanitize common warehouse spaces and workstations.
o Sweep, mop, dust and vacuum all warehouse floors.
o Clean windows and doors, both inside and out.
3. Restocking Supplies
o Monitor and stock restrooms with essential supplies, including toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap and cleaning products.
o Ensure all kitchens and breakrooms are adequately stocked with paper products, plastic utensils, hand soap, and cleaning products.
o Track and order cleaning supplies to ensure adequate stock levels.
4. Safety and Compliance
o Monitor and address spills, leaks and other hazards promptly.
o Use cleaning supplies and chemicals safely and in accordance with instructions
5. Waste Management:
o Empty trash cans and dispose of waste properly.
o Ensure all trash is taken out from both the office and production floors daily.
