Responsibilities:
Safety and Compliance:
- Perform all tasks safely and responsibly.
- Comply with all quality policies, specifications, regulations, and instructions.
- Ensure compliance with safety practices, procedures, federal, state, and local codes, and OSHA regulations.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Machine Operation:
- Affix and adjust collets and work-holding devices.
- Install and unload cutting tools.
- Touch off tooling and make offset adjustments.
- Operate machines to maintain production and quality standards.
- Recognize, deploy, and use inserts, fixtures, and tooling correctly.
- Perform tool wear offsets.
- Operate manual equipment as required.
Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
- Perform daily and regular cleaning and light maintenance on CNC machinery.
- Perform basic preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Supervision may be needed for troubleshooting equipment problems.
Quality Control:
- Use gauges and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements.
- Read and interpret blueprints.
