PARTS SPECIALIST
Position Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and organized team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. As a Parts Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting both internal and external customers with parts identification and order placement in the heating and air conditioning sector. Additionally, you will provide essential support for warranty and repair orders.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate a customer-centric approach by offering prompt, friendly and courteous assistance
- Provide parts support to customers and field technicians both over the phone and via email
- Responsible for detailed and accurate parts order processing
- Provide parts order support such as lead-times, order tracking, returns
- Supply requested parts quote information including shipping estimates
- Work with other departments such as Technical Support, Shipping and Sourcing
- Support the Parts Service Manager with PO order entry and data gathering
- Support the Warranty and Repair Managers as it pertains to order entry, RMA’s, shipment corrections and payment processing
- Enter data for repair tracking, estimates, and shipping
- Create repair price estimates and invoices
- Identify and implement process improvements for workflows
Qualifications:
- Completion of a high school diploma/general education (GED) required
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Customer Service role
- Knowledge of heating and air conditioning systems in either automotive, appliance, or HVAC fields preferred
- Possess mechanical aptitude and high attention to detail
