We are seeking an experienced Full Time Bookkeeping Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in QuickBooks and knowledge of other ERP systems, such as Fishbowl Inventory System, is a plus. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for managing the financial records and transactions of the company, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles.
Duties :
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate financial records by recording all transactions and ensuring proper documentation.
- Prepare and process invoices, bills, and expense reports.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Conduct regular audits of financial data to identify and resolve errors or inconsistencies.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting regulations and internal policies.
- Assist with the preparation of tax returns and other financial reports as required.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement and sales, to ensure accurate recording and tracking of financial transactions.
- Provide support during audits and assist in gathering necessary documentation.
- Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Assist in implementing and maintaining accounting systems and processes.
- Train and support other team members in using accounting software and maintaining financial records.
- Perform other related duties and ad-hoc financial analysis as assigned.
