What are the responsibilities and job description for the 1st Article _ Quality Inspector _ 1st shift position at Thermal Plastic Design, Inc?
Assure product is produced to customer specifications and satisfaction by applying inspection skills to read and follow inspection procedures and to document results. 1st Article Inspection.
1. Perform in-process inspections using inspection techniques and equipment per applicable work instructions and written procedures.
2. Work closely with and provide production support per shift supervisor’s requests including training production workers to recognize quality issues.
3. Work with Quality Manager to ensure department goals and schedules are met.
4. Maintain a neat and orderly and efficient method of operation within the QA inspection department.
5. Identify and promote new and different methods for inspection and production that increase productivity or safety by using corrective actions/process improvements.
6. Additional responsibilities: Perform Receiving Inspection, Calibration and First Articles (as assigned).
7. Other duties assign by Quality Manager.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
