What are the responsibilities and job description for the 3rd shift working Supervisor position at Thermal Plastic Design, Inc?
Must have Injection Mold Technician background - Responsibilities: Supervise a production team and provide technical support when required. Responsible for all production activities by performing the following duties:
A. Supervise, instructs, directs and trains departmental personnel in the proper performance of their duties.
B. Provides quality products per customer and Q.A. specifications through proper utilization of equipment and trained team members.
C. Meets or exceeds production schedules with quality products as planned by production control. Communicated all deviations of plan problems with the planner and manager.
D. Aids in setups and troubleshooting as required to meet production requirements or goals.
E. Accountable for accuracy and completion of all production documents.
F. Maintains employee records by reporting and documentation of absence, tardiness, vacations and all personal actions to Human Resources.
G. Develops and reports on departmental goals and assists in the implementation of company goals.
H. Ensure O.S.H.A. compliance along with corporate safety standards are met through training as directed by safety director.
I. Communicate to other shifts by performing a walk through and/or using the Work Center Log.
J. Performs all other duties assigned by Manager.
Qualifications: 2 years supervisory experience, Mold Technician experience, general math skills, basic computer skills.
