What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Preschool Teacher (TLC Learning Center - Toddler Program) position at Thermalito Union Elementary School District?
Requirements:
1) CDE Child Development Associate Teacher Permit or higher
Please note: To meet this requirement candidate must qualify for the CDE Child Development Permit within 12 months of employment by showing proof of 12 Semester units in early childhood education or child development, including at least one course of at least 3 semester units in each of the following core areas:
a) Child/human growth and development;
b) Child, family and community, or child and family relations;
c) Programs/curriculum
Applicant must apply for CDE Child Development Associate Teacher Permit within 12 months of employment through Form 41-4 application for CDE Child Development Associate Teacher Permit.
2) 3 Semester Units in infant/todller early childhood education
3) High School Diploma or GED equivalency
4) Child and Baby First Aid/CPR/AED certification within 30 days of employment
