ThermalTran serves residential, commercial, industrial, and scientific HVAC and refrigeration. We are looking for an experienced HVAC and Refrigeration Technician with a sterling character, excellent diagnostic acumen, and the ability to provide efficient solutions for our clients. Adaptability and flexibility are a must. ThermalTran's standards are high, but if you are up to the challenge, we invite you to apply.

Desired traits (These traits can be learned at ThermalTran if these are presently beyond your current skillset) :

• Experience in refrigeration service, including parallel rack refrigeration, redundant scientific systems, and cascade systems
• High organizational skills in managing truck stock and open service calls
• Competency with Service Titan or other field service software
• Other refrigeration trade experiences like rack refrigeration or restaurant refrigeration are a plus
• Experience assembling walk-in coolers and freezers

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

• 2 years of HVAC or commercial refrigeration service experience
• Knowledge of mechanical and energy codes, coupled with best practices for repair
• Clear and respectful communication skills
• Ability to imbue trust in relationships with our clients and team members
• Efficiency in diagnostics and repair of HVAC and refrigeration equipment
• Teachability: a passion for learning more about the trade and energy efficiency
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Excellent customer service skills
• Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy equipment
• Ability to be part of an after-hours on-call rotation
