Description
The Account Manager will be responsible for maintaining and growing relationships with current clients while seeking opportunities to expand our customer base. This role requires a proactive approach to account management, with responsibilities spanning client relationship management, solution selling, and customer support. This role offers a unique opportunity to cultivate strong relationships with manufacturing clients while driving innovation and expansion in the industrial sector. The position entails up to 10% travel to client sites or industry events as needed.
Location: Hybrid: 5-7 days a month in office in Winston-Salem, NC
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.
- New Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned territories and industries.
- Consultative Selling: Understand customer needs and propose solutions that align with their thermal processing requirements.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with engineering, production, and customer service teams to effectively deliver solutions and resolve client issues.
- Account Strategy and Planning: Develop strategic account plans to drive revenue growth and meet company sales objectives.
- Reporting & CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, opportunities, and forecasted sales in the CRM system.
- Technical Expertise: Stay well-versed in Thermcraft’s innovative product range to effectively communicate our value proposition to clients.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: 3 years of account management or sales experience, ideally within manufacturing, engineering, or industrial sectors.
Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to understand technical specifications and apply consultative selling techniques.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and the ability to translate technical specifications into customer solutions.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Motivated self-starter with a results-oriented approach.
