Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage a high-performance team of 200 Global R&D Engineers passionate about developing outstanding instruments for both RUO and IVD markets that leverage AI/ML.
- Recognize emerging trends and provide strategic leadership to ensure engineering strategy aligns with short- and long-term Divisional and Group vision.
- Set the bar for experimental data impact on Product Development and be accountable for Quality, Cost, and Delivery of products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional division leaders to develop new product instrumentation roadmaps and MGPP strategies while maintaining budget requirements and meeting deadlines and quality standards.
Requirements
- MS/Ph.D. degree in an Engineering field or Applied Physics with 15 years leading engineering project teams and developing moderate complexity instrumentation for life science.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills with a passion for participating in fast-paced environments characterized by rigorous science, engineering excellence, and innovative thinking.
