Job Title: Scientist - HPLC Maintenance
Description:
We are seeking a skilled Scientist to maintain and troubleshoot High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) and Gas Chromatography (GC) units.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a fleet of HPLCs, diagnosing hardware issues, performing basic repairs, operating and troubleshooting GC instruments, and problem-solving with assistance pertaining to chromatography and instrumentation problems.

About the Role:
Maintain a fleet of HPLCs used to measure pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical compounds in various formulations and biological matrices.
Diagnose HPLC hardware issues and perform basic repairs.
Operate and troubleshoot GC instruments.
Problem-solve with assistance pertaining to chromatography and instrumentation problems.
Independent execution of analytical testing protocols and data analysis.
Train on routine operation, maintenance, and theory of analytical instrumentation, SOPs, and regulatory procedures and guidelines.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field and 2-4 years of experience.
- HPLC troubleshooting experience is required.
- GC operation and troubleshooting is required.
- Knowledge of applicable regulatory authority, compendia, and ICH guidelines.
- Ability to understand and independently apply GMPs and/or GLPs to everyday work with regard to documentation and instrument use.
- Ability to utilize Microsoft Excel and Word to perform tasks.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Time management and project management skills.
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
