Job Title: Scientist III
Description: As a member of our team, you will be responsible for performing complex laboratory analysis of pharmaceutical products. You will proficiently use analytical instrumentation, calculate and analyze data, and record data in adherence with PPD SOP's and industry standards.
Main Responsibilities:
- Performs laboratory analysis and uses analytical instrumentation
- Routinely acts as project leader on multiple projects and interacts with clients
- Reviews and evaluates data, writes reports, and protocols
- Communicates regulatory issues with senior level team members
Additional Responsibilities:
- Independently performs method validations, method transfers, and analytical testing
- Designs and drives experiments with minimal supervision
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent formal academic/vocational qualification
- Demonstrated knowledge of HPLC, GC, and/or GCMS preferred
- Full understanding of GMP laboratory requirements, ICH guidelines, USP requirements, and FDA guidance
- Experience with quality investigations and quality deviations strongly preferred
- Ability to apply Microsoft Excel and Word to perform tasks
- Proven ability in technical writing skills
- Time management and project management skills
- Ability to train junior staff
Work Environment:
Able to use and learn standard office equipment and technology with proficiency. May have exposure to potentially hazardous elements, including infectious agents, typically found in healthcare or laboratory environments.
