Position Summary:
Engineer III, Bioprocess Development will focus on conceptualization, design, and implementation of advanced systems.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and craft advanced systems, ensuring flawless integration and operation.
- Lead experimental planning, conduct studies, and analyze results to determine the best course of action.
- Act as the go-to expert for system design, providing insights and mentorship to improve our R&D capabilities.
- Coordinate rapid design, testing, and deployment cycles to drive innovation.
- Engage in process characterization and validation studies, both internally and externally.
- Document and protect intellectual property through detailed reporting and analysis.
- Collaborate with customers and field representatives to refine product concepts and conduct testing.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or a related field.
- 4-8 years (2-4 years with MS or equivalent experience) of experience in system design or a similar role.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in engineering software.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to lead and mentor teams effectively.
- Proven problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to learning.
- MS or PhD in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in automation and instrumentation.
- Experience with bioreactor control systems and related unit operations.
- Basic project management skills.
