What will you do?
- This job is for a 12 hour Night shift position. The candidate will also need to be flexible to support Dayshift when needed.
- Work on an all inclusive team.
- Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards, Cleanroom: no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair etc... allowed, Cold Room/Freezers -22degrees, Loud Noises (Equipment/Machinery), Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.), Standing for full shift, Strong Odors (chemical, lubricants, biological products etc.)
- Receive daily assignments and manufacturing schedule from supervisor. Assign work to self, and team so that schedule can be maintained. Follow up on repairs by maintenance and coordinate these with schedule. Coordinate with cross-functional teams such as engineering, environmental monitoring, instrumentation, quality assurance, and validation. Prevent work loss to inefficiencies by maintaining secondary jobs for workers.
- Participate in RAPID event response and provides quality guidance for deviation events
- Ensure processors perform efficient manufacturing processes. Perform some manufacturing processes. Apply aseptic technique knowledge and ensure processors comply. Ensure tanks maintained on CIP/SIP. Assist in manufacturing batches as needed.
- Maintain accurate production records. Perform formula calculations. Review formulas for accuracy and completion. Maintain records of daily product manufacturing. Report material use and production yields. Print labels and cards Make entries into logbooks, transfer sheets, charts and other paperwork.
- Evaluate problems, and implement corrective actions.
- Assist supervisor in training processors and servicers in Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), cGMPs, safety procedures, in performance of various manual, visual or mechanized tasks. Maintain own skills by participation in training programs
- Maintain/clean classified environments/areas.
- Communicate and work to resolve any production, quality or safety issues.
- Participate in the On the Job (OJT) training program, area safety initiatives, and area initiatives
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience minimally required.
- At least 2 years of manufacturing experience in a regulated environment, preferably in Steriles.
- Strong technical background
- Equivalent combinations of education, training, and meaningful work experience may be considered.
- Knowledge of sterile operations including aseptic techniques, sterilization and compounding.
- Ability to collaborate to achieve goals and expectations.
- Ability to learn quickly.
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to achieve and maintain qualifications to work in a clean-room environment.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Flexibility with departmental work schedules, including overtime and all shift operations.
