Job Description

Ensure that existing staff & new recruits have the knowledge, skills & confidence to excel in their roles we require a Training Co-ordinator to join the EHS team.

What will you do?

• Collaborate with EHS, HR, Operations, QA & Engineering to understand core skill & knowledge requirements & ensure that they are addressed in the onboarding of new staff & the upskilling of existing Thermo Fisher colleagues
• Plan, schedule & run all required staff training events both onsite & offsite
• Liaise, book & schedule other trainers (Both internal & external) for planned courses
• Support line management in the development of skills matrices for their direct reports to help identify skills gaps or vulnerabilities
• Develop an annual training programme to ensure that the identified skills gaps & vulnerabilities are addressed
• Design, develop & organize training & supporting materials
• Develop innovative ideas in knowledge sharing & worker development
• Report to site leadership on the sites training schedule compliance & performance

Who we are looking for:

• Confident when speaking to groups
• Administrative & organizational experience in arranging group activities & events
• Excellent knowledge of PowerPoint
• Good interpersonal skills
• Ability to interact at all levels
• Excellent administrative skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Formal training qualification

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in Maryland is $23.04–$32.00.
