About the Role
Join Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. in Chino, CA as a Building Maintenance Mechanic III. Maintain our facilities and support seamless operations. Work with a collaborative team to achieve our goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
- Diagnose and repair building equipment and systems to ensure flawless functionality.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to successfully implement maintenance schedules and respond to emergency maintenance requests.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, strictly adhering to all codes and standards.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and work orders.
- Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance programs to improve facility operations.
- High school diploma or equivalent experience; technical certification or degree in a related field preferred.
- 1 yrs - Proven experience as a Building Maintenance Mechanic or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a collaborative environment.
- Strong communication skills and a dedication to exceptional customer service.

Compensation and Benefits
The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in Colorado is $21.82–$32.72.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
