We provide our teams with the resources needed to achieve individual career goals while taking science a step beyond through research, development and delivery of life-changing therapies.Location / Division Specific InformationThis position is fully remote, benefit eligible with travel in a 10-20% range (international may be required).Discover Impactful WorkLeads the clinical team for Nephrology indication : translating the TPP as set by the Asset Strategy Team into a Clinical Development Plan.Provide continuous strategic medical insight and planning for the indication during all the stages of development.Own the Clinical development plan and participate in long-range strategic planning as data emerge.Line management of the Global Clinical Trial Physicians working on the indication.Real-time oversight of the medical aspects of studies in the indication.Safeguard harmonization across the studies.Lead indication medical ad boards as appropriate.Help build and maintain a “best in class” group of development medical doctors.Ensure compliance of all studies in the indication.Keys to successMedical Doctor or equivalent required. Board certified Nephrologist preferred. Relevant specialty education preferred (e.g. Nephrology / Immunology) with at least 3-5 years in the pharma / biotech industry.Knowledge, Skills, AbilitiesExcellent English, both written and spoken.Proven leadership, motivational and interpersonal skills in a global environment.Pro-active problem solver with negotiation skills.Strong communication skills to ensure transparency in study plans and status.Demonstrated expertise in clinical trial design, conduct and interpretation of clinical data.Physical Requirements / Work EnvironmentWork is performed in an office environment with occasional travel.
