How will you make an impact?
Perform mechanical/electrical maintenance functions to set up, adjust, maintain, and repair production line equipment. Work at a proficient level and proactively troubleshoot and recommend preventive actions.
What will you do?
End Of Week Night (EOWN) Shift - Thursday, Friday, Saturday 6:00 pm - 6:30 am.
- Sets up, cleans, troubleshoots, and adjusts/lubricates equipment.
- Performs disassembly and assembly of mechanical and electrical/electronic assemblies and equipment. Repairs and replaces major components using technical instructions.
- Operates systems, machines, lines, and equipment; e.g. vacuum systems, production machines, general hand tools and instruments.
- Performs repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment from written instructions, sketches, plans, diagrams, verbal descriptions, or self-determined job requirements based on observed conditions.
- Documents conditions, actions, procedures, and results of work, tests or inspections performed by Company policies and procedures.
- Communicate nightly and weekend shift issues to adjacent shifts via work logs and reports.
- Follows SOP’s and CGMP’s and company policies relating to safety, quality, housekeeping, and cost efficiency.
- Will be trained on Building Automation Systems (BAS) and Rockwell Automation Factory Talk (RAFT) systems to provide routine site support as needed on the EOWN shift.
How will you get here?
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience
- 2 years proven experience in pharmaceutical production.
- 2 years proven experience in manufacturing maintenance.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to read/understand piping and instrument diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams, equipment assembly drawings and other equipment-related documentation.
- Job may require wearing of NFPA 70E personal protective equipment as well as Tyvek coveralls and different styles of respirators.
- Collaborative abilities to effectively communicate in a team environment.
- Be familiar with Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work overtime as needed and be available on an on-call basis as needed.
