The successful candidate for this role will report to the Sr. Director - Strategy of the Biologicals and Chemicals Division. They should possess excellent analytical, communication, facilitation, interpersonal, and influencing skills.

Responsibilities : Market Intelligence

Lead annual analysis of market to collect information that informs annual planning process

Use external datasets and market research reports to build and maintain high-quality models to understand 5-year market growth trends, overall and by region and business segment.

Create periodic (monthly, quarterly, annual) market dynamics and insights to support key business processes

Provide market analytics including analysis of competitor earnings reports, portfolio analysis, and tracking of key competitors

Track and distill insights from news that informs market and competitive intelligence gathering

Collaborate with different teams, including product management and market development, to evaluate and analyze market opportunities that align with the company's growth areas

Provide identification and communication of emerging trends and how they may affect our business

Synthesize market research for regular executive review

Work independently and in partnership with functional teams to support market and internal analysis

Develop and evolve standard work

Present results to team members and leadership through effective use of Excel, PowerPoint, and email

Strategy Development

Analyze markets, develop business strategies, and build plans to facilitate business objectives

Support development of Business Unit and Strategic Business Segment specific strategies

Strong business relationship management

Set and communicate priorities

Use business systems to deploy and run critical initiatives

Partner with team members to achieve goals

Lead cross-functional teams as an individual contributor to assess new opportunities from customers / commercial / product management (Return on Investment, market research, development of a reason)

Strengthen strategies to increase presence globally

Minimum Qualifications :

BS / BA required, major in business or technical field preferred.

MBA or advanced degree a plus

5 years of experience in a bioproduction or life science environment preferred, including working with and supporting global teams, and collaborating with executive level leads

5 Experience with data warehousing and CRM tools such as Salesforce.com, and data analytics (advanced Excel user), Power BI reporting tools desired

Microsoft Office skills required

Up to 25% travel

Desired Qualifications :

Prior experience using pharma databases and ability to independently conduct analysis using these databases (examples include IQVIA, Evaluate Pharma, Citeline)

Prior experience working in a fast-paced environment with ability to prioritize multiple projects

Highly motivated, analytical, detailed, and passionate

Comfortable in flexing between working independently or as part of a cross-functional team

Ability to think through and implement creative solutions

Excellent Excel modeling skills

Outstanding interpersonal skills including ability to take an independent stance when working with collaborators.

Proven track record of translating data and metrics into business insight

Positive relationship building skills

Management consulting experience is a plus

Experience with financial planning and analysis and root cause analysis is helpful

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in Massachusetts is $103,100.00–$154,700.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and / or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes :
