The Senior BioProduction Account Manager position supports the commercial organization for Thermo Fisher Scientific's BioProduction Group, which provides integrated solutions to biotechnology and biopharmaceutical customers across the entire bioprocessing workflow. Our technologies include: Cell Culture, Production Chemicals, Chromatography, Pharma Analytics, and Single-Use Technologies.
This role will be responsible for selling the entire Bioproduction product portfolio within the assigned territory, including Single-Use Technologies Hardware and Consumables, Cell Culture, Purification, Pharma Analytics, and Production Chemicals. The successful candidate will work independently and apply sales, product, and territory knowledge to meet sales quota and expense targets.

Responsibilities:
- Work independently on daily activities in accordance with sales activity plans.
- Engage technical sales specialists from supporting product teams and receive guidance from product management as needed.
- Maintain existing customer relationships while developing new business opportunities.
- Coordinate custom projects across various functional groups to ensure alignment and accurate execution.
- Meet sales quotas and expense targets for assigned territories.
- Apply effective sales strategies and negotiation techniques to identify sales opportunities and respond to customer needs.
- Drive growth through territory planning and account planning skills.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, or equivalent (Master's degree preferred).
- 5 years of experience selling into the BioProduction market or related industry experience.
Key Skills:
- Established sales history and relationships with upstream and downstream process development groups within key biopharmaceutical accounts.
- Ability to discuss and support product requirements across the bioprocessing workflow.
- Strong analytical skills to analyze territory sales data and technical information.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate and problem-solve internally and with customers.
- Experience working with SFDC CRM is favorable.
