Position Summary:
This channel management role is responsible for supporting the Laboratory Products Group (LPG) growth through our Independent Channel Partner’s (ICP’s) located in the western half North America. This entails working with Laboratory Products Commercial, Product Management, and Market Development teams to implement high impact field-based initiatives in support of the product portfolio. You will provide support for new product launches, industry segment strategies, and our position in key accounts. In addition, the candidate must establish and lead a mutually beneficial relationship with our ICP’s based on trust and common goals.
What You Will Do:
The salary range estimated for this position based in Illinois is $103,000.00–$136,000.00.

In addition, the candidate must establish and lead a mutually beneficial relationship with our ICP’s based on trust and common goals.
What You Will Do:
- Drive sales objectives and awareness of the LPG portfolio through training, sales engagement and channel events
- Develop and maintain Senior Level and Sales Management relationships with our strategic channels to promote the portfolio
- Understand who the key players are in the channel and cultivate relationships to drive growth
- Observe and monitor market dynamics and understand competitor actions which guide future selling strategies/efforts
- Collaborate with other functional areas within Thermo Fisher Scientific to implement channel business/market plans
- Establish robust monthly business reviews to assess growth targets or variances to plan
- Build and implement programs that drive revenue improvement
- Develop processes to identify and corrective actions to recover from shortfalls within specific product categories
- Establish appropriate sales targets for the channel with input from the business units
- BS degree in Sciences, Engineering or Business
- MBA preferred
- 5 years of proven track record in life sciences industry or related field with progressively increasing responsibilities - experience in sales and marketing
- Strong analytical skills and ability to draw conclusions and observations from market trends and sales data analysis
- Ability to plan, gain consensus and implement a project to completion and success
- Proven track record to operate independently, with initiative and good business judgment and demeanor
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to travel domestically (40%)
The salary range estimated for this position based in Illinois is $103,000.00–$136,000.00.
