Join the Support Team for the Cell Culture Group at AbbVie Bioresearch Center in Worcester. Develop, scale-up, and transfer cell culture manufacturing processes for biologics.

What makes this opportunity outstanding? You will be involved with all aspects of laboratory operations to support cell culture process development at bench scale, ensuring our ambitious projects are completed flawlessly!

Schedule

The hours of operation for this role are Sunday through Thursday, 1st Shift

Education

Experience

High school diploma or equivalent experience required.

2 years of related experience within a laboratory setting is preferred. Experience working in customer service is also a plus.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Outstanding organizational abilities
• Proficiency in using computer and intermediate skills in Microsoft Office suite
• Ability to troubleshoot and maintain lab equipment
• Proven ability to perform routine sampling of ongoing cultures
  
  

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

• Work primarily at customer sites, which may require independent work
• Regularly required to lift 30 - 40lbs, and up to 50lbs occasionally
• Regularly use equipment including pushcarts and pallet jacks
• Ability to work in environments with varied temperatures
