How will you get here?
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
- 3-5 years of progressive proven experience preferred
- Must maintain Thermo Fisher Scientifics’ Four-I Values
- Demonstrates a strong desire to serve the customer and the interpersonal skills to collaborate with various levels of personnel at the customer site
- Must always deliver excellent customer service while maintaining a professional appearance
- Operating skills to use hand-held devices and learn to enter data in various systems as needed
- Possesses the organizational skills to multi-task, manage time, and meet SLAs
- Efficient intermediate skills in Microsoft Office suite of software
- Experience in laboratory settings and GLP/GMP environments, preferred
What will you do?
- Triage safety or compliance incidents and participate in investigation & CAPA execution
- Address customer concerns and communicate issues/flow interrupters to Amgen Quality Control and ULS management
- Coordinate resources and adjust schedules as appropriate to manage peak workloads
- Monitor team efficiency – track and report operational metrics, savings initiatives, SLA adherence
- Manage business continuity plans and promote cross-training
- Lead and/or participate in internal and client meetings related to PD
- Drive process improvements
- HR-related: Handle employee performance, onboard/terminate employees, review timecards, manage employee engagement & attrition, further strong team mentality
- Provide in-lab operational support on an as needed basis including: Media preparation, bioreactor support, glass wash, and lab consumables
Knowledge, skills, abilities:
- Experience with HLEE CRIS, My Buy procurement programs a plus
- Proficient Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Visio, Outlook, Teams)
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills
- Detail oriented, problem solving, promotes partnership
- Able to lift, push and pull 50 pounds consistently
