Parts Counter Associate

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting daily operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining the overall efficiency of the workplace. This position requires a blend of customer service skills, technical knowledge in transport / refrigeration repair and maintenance, as well as proficiency in various administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with inquiries regarding repair and maintenance items.
• Manage inventory by stocking products and ensuring that all items are organized and accessible.
• Process transactions accurately using the cash register and POS systems.
• Fulfill orders promptly while maintaining high standards of customer service.
• Utilize Excel for tracking inventory levels and managing data related to sales and orders.
• Demonstrate effective phone etiquette when handling customer calls and inquiries.
• 9:00 am - 6:00 pm shift, Monday - Friday
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to enhance operational efficiency.

Skills

• Some knowledge of transport / refrigeration repair and maintenance is preferred.
• Proficiency in using Excel for data management and reporting purposes.
• Experience with cash registers and POS systems for efficient transaction processing.
• Excellent phone etiquette to ensure professional communication with customers.
• Ability to negotiate effectively with vendors to secure necessary supplies.
• Strong math skills for accurate order fulfillment and financial transactions.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills to manage stock effectively.
