Utility Crane & Equipment, based in Tolleson, is a dealership that primarily builds and services aerial bucket trucks in the Southwest. Schedule:
- Typical Schedule: Tuesday through Friday 5am-3:30pm
- Overtime may be required during peak periods. Peak Schedule: Monday through Friday 5am-3:30pm
Work setting: In-person
Job Duties
- Installation of PTO and pump
- Installation of hydraulic plumbing
- Installation of accessories
- Wire stop/tail/turn/backup lighting
- Wire emergency and work lighting
- Wire aerial, crane, or other units
- Interface with chassis
Advancement
- Advancement from Apprentice to Journeyman to Expert, with move to Service or other areas, is possible based experience gained and productivity.
Qualifications
Job Skills
- Hold strong mechanic and electric competency
- Proficient technical and analytical skills
- Knowledge of usage of power tools
- Must be a strong team player, highly motivated, and eager to learn
- Must be detail-oriented
- Reliable transportation to be available for work in timely manner
The ability to work in an alert and safe manner is always required. Position includes stooping, bending, kneeling, sitting, standing, climbing into trailer, ladder usage, lifting up to 50 pounds, use of provided ear protection in a sometimes in a noisy environment.
