Job Summary
- Responsible for warehouse functions to include unloading and unpacking shipments, inbound processing, scanning and shelving of parts, pulling orders, data entry into computerized inventory control system, and inventory control.
- Operate power equipment such as wire cutting machines, straighteners, abrasive cutoff saws, etc.
- May utilize barcode scanning equipment.
Experience:
- scanning: 1 year (Preferred)
- Data Entry: 1 year (Preferred)
- Warehouse: 1 year (Preferred)
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Packaging and shipping of completed assemblies.
- Maintaining adequate inventory of shipping supplies
- Daily cleanup of shipping area
- Responsible for controlling parts inventory in assigned areas.
- Maintains proper shelf labels of all supplies being stocked in designated area.
- Files requisitions and reports in an orderly manner.
- Pulls parts indicated by the bill of materials for each sales order
- Assists with assembling when time permits
- Maintain a neat and orderly work area.
- Precise attention to detail
- Coiling of wire
- Straightening and Measuring of heavy gauge conductor
- Constant communication with office staff
- Organization
PHYSICAL AND SENSORY REQUIREMENTS:
Standing for up to 6 hours, up to 3 hours at a time. Walking for up to 6 hours per day, 1 hour at a time. Sitting for up to 2 hours per day, 1 hour at a time. Frequently uses fingers for data entry, etc. Frequently uses hands for stocking of shelves, etc. Frequently uses upper extremities to lift up to 50 pounds. Frequently stoops, bends or reaches above shoulder level. Hearing as it relates to normal conversation. Seeing as it relates to general vision, near vision, peripheral vision and visual monotony. Frequently pushing and pulling carts weighing up to 500 pounds.
EDUCATION:
High School Graduate or equivalent required. Exceptions can be made for students still attending high school.
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
Must be accurate in dealing with figures. Prior computer experience preferred. Inventory control background. Precise attention to detail. Physically capable of operating equipment for extended periods of time, in a safe manner.
Pay based on experience

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
