What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Specialist position at Thermogenics LLC?
Reporting to the Business Manager, the AP/AR Specialist is responsible for the financial processing of transactions and payables data to ensure a complete and accurate financial record. Responsibilities include A/P, A/R, Office Supplies and Payroll entry. This role ensures the office has the necessary resources and support available to operate efficiently and effectively.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Payroll
- Key in timecard data.
- Enter 401K data into ERP.
- Other duties as required.
Accounting
Main Activities:
- Provide backup and support for Business Manager such as: office organization, sales tax compliance and reporting, depositing checks, property & business insurance, accounting month end process, use tax calculation and remittance.
- Other duties as assigned.
Accounts Payable
- Manage the invoice process cradle-to-grave.
- Enter and reconcile credit card and gas card charges.
- Other duties as assigned.
Accounts Receivable
- Process customer payments.
- Follow-up and document overdue payments.
- Other duties as assigned.
Office Administration
Main Activities:
- Ensure office supply levels are monitored and maintained.
- Filing and record management for all departments.
- Provide clerical support as needed.
- Answer phones.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications
- Proficient computer skills
- Must be familiar with Excel.
- 1-2 years past AP and AR entry experience
- Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures
- Strong attention to detail and ability to self audit.
- Ability to multi-task effectively
