ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, other duties may be assigned.
- Designs and develops layouts for mechanical and electrical systems.
- Assists in the production of detailed mechanical drawing and schematics in SolidWorks.
- Creates and / or modifies designs for boilers and pressure vessels to meet customer requirements.
- Develops drawings and Bill of Materials.
- Works with other designers, code inspectors, and quality assurance personnel involved in designing products.
- Produce designs which comply with engineering principles, ASME and NEC code, safety, and customer requirements, as well as company standards.
- Assist other departments, such as marketing, in developing new products or options.
- Assist manufacturing by helping to improve processes, reduce scrap and improve productivity.
