Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic Marketing Communications Specialist to enhance and execute our marketing and communication strategies across North America for the Thermon brand. This role focuses on engaging both internal and external audiences by creating impactful content, managing communication materials, and maintaining an organized document archive. The Specialist will collaborate across multiple departments to ensure timely and accurate communication, supporting marketing initiatives, event coordination, and content creation to strengthen our brand presence.
Key Responsibilities:
· Content Development and Management: Create, maintain, and update marketing and technical documentation, including product information, internal memos, datasheets, intranet, and website content. Collaborate with product managers and other departments to ensure content accuracy and alignment with company messaging. Implement auditable tracking for versions and obtain necessary approvals.
· Document Control and Version Management: Organize and manage technical, translation, and marketing documents, maintaining version control, approval processes, and updates to digital platforms. Coordinate and track updates to ensure all content remains current across all platforms.
· Project Coordination: Oversee the end-to-end translation process for multiple projects. Liaise with stakeholders to gather requirements, define project objectives, set deadlines, and ensure quality expectations are met.
· Digital Marketing Content Creation: Develop engaging content for social media, website articles, blogs, intranet, and video materials to enhance brand visibility and customer engagement. Ensure all marketing materials align with the company’s brand message and support external communication efforts.
· Cross-Department Collaboration: Utilize company tools to facilitate seamless communication, promote real-time collaboration, and streamline project management across teams. Actively engage with cross-functional departments to enhance team coordination, ensuring alignment on project goals and timely execution.
· Creative Strategy and Support: Approach communication challenges with creativity, proposing new ideas and solutions to improve workflows, enhance marketing strategies, and ensure alignment with overall communication goals. Solve complex problems with a creative approach, introducing new ways to execute marketing strategies effectively.
· Problem-Solving: Address challenges by making well-informed, timely decisions based on analysis, experience, and collaboration with other departments. Proactively seek solutions and ensure smooth resolution of conflicts and non-performance issues.
Qualifications:
· Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
· Experience: Three to five years in product marketing or related fields, with hands-on experience in creating and managing marketing and technical content. Experience should include cross-departmental collaboration, driving content initiatives, and supporting marketing campaigns.
· Digital Tools Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with company tools like SharePoint, Viva Engage, and Teams to enhance communication, document management, and team collaboration. Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop to create and edit visually engaging marketing materials, ensuring consistency with brand standards.
· Content Creation and Copywriting: High proficiency in writing clear, concise, and engaging copy for various platforms, including websites, internal communications, and social media, ensuring all content aligns with company messaging. Capable of editing content to improve clarity, effectiveness, and audience engagement.
· Attention to Detail and Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail, particularly when managing complex documentation, coordinating marketing initiatives, and ensuring accuracy in content and communications. Exceptional organizational skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
· Communication Skills: Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively. Comfortable interacting with all levels of the organization and ensuring clear communication between teams and leadership.
