THE JOB
Thesis Agency is seeking a visionary AI Solution Architect to build the future of AI-powered solutions for both internal platforms and external client experiences. Reporting to the Head of Technology, this role will define and oversee the AI/ML/GenAI technical direction and architectural vision, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and digital transformation efforts. The AI Solution Architect will collaborate across teams to translate business leaders’ vision into actionable technical implementations, while also identifying opportunities for innovation and efficiencies.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:
Strategic Alignment and Vision:
Define and oversee the AI/ML/GenAI technical direction and architectural vision, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
Translate business vision into realistic technical implementations, identifying and mitigating misaligned initiatives and impractical use cases.
Architectural Design and Technology Selection:
Architect a comprehensive AI Engineering framework that supports the deployment, evaluation, and management of ML models and GenAI solutions.
Evaluate and select technologies from open-source and commercial offerings, ensuring seamless integration with existing tools.
Contribute to MLOps and LLMOps practices to enhance operational capabilities and infrastructure for machine learning and large language models.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:
Collaborate with Enterprise, Application, Data & DevOps Architects, Data Scientists, Machine Learning Engineers, and Business teams to design and implement use cases.
Align technical implementations with business needs by gathering inputs from multiple stakeholders.
Lead proposal development, contribute to pricing strategies, and maintain relationships with top decision-makers.
Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement:
Drive the successful execution of AI-powered applications using agile methodologies.
Audit AI tools and practices across data, models, and software engineering, ensuring continuous improvement.
Standardize CI/CD pipelines, user and service roles, and deployment methodologies based on business and security requirements.
Risk Management and Ethical Considerations:
Partner with security and risk leaders to foresee and mitigate potential risks, ensuring ethical AI implementation and compliance with regulations.
Address issues like training data poisoning, AI model theft, and adversarial samples.
Educate AI product managers and business stakeholders on the capabilities and limitations of AI.
Research and Development:
Conduct research to develop scalable AI/ML-powered features, balancing quality, scalability, performance, and cost.
Build tools for data ingestion, feature engineering, and data management.
Design and maintain distributed computing solutions for secure, scalable, and reliable machine learning infrastructure.
AS FOR EXPERIENCE, YOU NEED:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
8 years of experience leading technical teams, including both onshore and offshore resources.
8 years of experience in gathering requirements, application architecture design, and full system development lifecycle implementations.
2 years of experience building GenAI environments.
Expertise in MLOps, LLMOps, and implementing cloud-native AI/ML solutions.
Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in AI/ML or related disciplines.
Certifications in AI/ML or cloud platforms, such as AWS Certified Machine Learning - Specialty, Google Cloud Professional Machine Learning Engineer, or Azure AI Engineer.
Experience integrating tools for cognitive services, chatbots, and optimization workflows.

Thesis operates using a flexible hybrid model, work occurs remotely two days/week and in the office three days/week.
