THE JOB
As a Technology Director, you will lead the charge in developing scalable, innovative digital solutions while ensuring smooth execution of projects that meet the highest creative and technical standards. You will work closely with the Head of Technology to define best practices, implement cutting-edge technologies, and mentor a team of developers and engineers. This role is central to bridging the gap between technical execution, creative vision, and strategic objectives, ensuring the agency delivers world-class digital experiences.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:
Drive the technical execution of digital projects, ensuring alignment with creative vision and technical feasibility.
Lead the development of scalable, high-performing digital solutions, including websites, mobile applications, AI integrations, and platform APIs.
Oversee the entire development lifecycle, from planning to deployment and optimization.
Implement best practices for coding, system architecture, and digital infrastructure, ensuring reliability and security.
Identify and integrate emerging technologies to enhance the agency’s digital capabilities.
Mentor and guide developers and engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
Collaborate with creative, strategy, and account teams to translate ideas into viable technical solutions.
Partner with production to ensure seamless execution of high-quality digital deliverables.
Work with operations to optimize internal workflows and processes.
Build and maintain relationships with vendors, technology partners, and third-party platforms.
Ensure efficient resourcing by aligning developer workloads with agency priorities.
Evaluate and integrate new tools, platforms, and automation processes to enhance efficiency.
AS FOR EXPERIENCE, YOU NEED:
8 years of experience in software development, web development, or digital product engineering.
3 years leading and managing technical teams within an agency, startup, or tech-driven company.
Expertise in modern development stacks, including JavaScript (React, Node.js), Python, AI integrations, and mobile frameworks.
Strong knowledge of APIs, CRM integrations, and cloud-based platforms.
Experience implementing AI-driven automation, personalization, and data-driven marketing solutions.
Deep understanding of digital product lifecycles, including prototyping, user testing, and iterative development.
Familiarity with security best practices, performance optimization, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure).
Experience working closely with designers, strategists, and creative teams to bridge the gap between vision and execution.
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Certain activities are performed in an environmentally controlled office setting subject to extended periods of sitting, keyboarding, and manipulating a computer mouse.

Thesis operates using a flexible hybrid model, work occurs remotely two days/week and in the office three days/week.
