Our client, a top tier Management & Strategy Consulting firm is looking for a Trade Surveillance Engineer for a top tier US Bank.
Qualification & Responsibilities:
· Expertise in Trade Surveillance: Deep knowledge and experience in trade surveillance systems are crucial.
· Leadership and Team Management: Ability to lead a team and manage resources effectively.
· Strategic Implementation: Skills in planning and implementing strategic initiatives within tight deadlines and regulatory frameworks.
· Technical and Functional Agility: Must be adaptable with various surveillance products and maintain a strong engineering background to manage technical aspects of the role.
· Must have Trade Surveillance and strong Engineering experience
· Management of Trade Surveillance Systems:
· Oversee the trade surveillance and personal trading surveillance systems, currently under the management of Sanshit.
· Team Leadership and Execution:
· Requested role would lead the Compliance Engineering Team as its head.
· Engineering is key focus and strength of resource, but Compliance SME would be an add-on.
· IMPORTANT: Candidate needs to demonstrate expertise in trade surveillance functions and have the ability to run an engineering team effectively.
· Help Plan Implementation:
· Focus on developing plan for the year 2025 with tight deadlines for trade surveillance enhancements.
· Initially follow a high-level roadmap (2-year) for implementing surveillance improvements
· Remediate (already identified) gaps in the current system over a planned two-year implementation period.
· Help develop low-level roadmap.
· Vendor and Product Management:
· Role is product agnostic but needs to know functions of Trade Surveillance very well across different data types.
