What are the responsibilities and job description for the Phlebotomist II position at Thibodaux Regional Health System?
Responsible for obtaining blood and other specimens for the purpose of laboratory analysis.
Educational and/or Professional Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or GED preferred.
2. Graduate of a phlebotomy training program required or in lieu of education a minimum of 2 years phlebotomy experience is required.
Other Special Training/Skills:
1. Phlebotomy certification preferred but not required.
2. Must possess good interpersonal skills so that communication with patients puts them at ease.
