Educational and/or Professional Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or GED preferred.
Previous Experience:
1. Desired, but not necessary.
Other Special Training/Skills:
1. Keyboarding/computer skills.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs the secretarial, and clerical duties on an assigned unit, including transcription of orders, maintenance of charts, recordkeeping, and appropriate computer applications.
- Greets, directs, and gives non-professional factual information to patients, visitors, and personnel from other departments.
- Assists in inventory maintenance and control for assigned unit.
