Tax Associate

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Tax Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial acumen and a solid understanding of tax regulations and compliance. This role is crucial in assisting clients with their tax preparation, planning, and reporting needs, ensuring accuracy and adherence to all applicable laws. The ideal candidate would be someone with 2-5 years of public accounting experience with an active CPA license or enroute to obtaining their CPA license.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
• Client Accounting Services - preparation of monthly/quarterly financial statements on QuickBooks.
• Conduct thorough analysis of financial data to identify tax-saving opportunities for clients.
• Interpret financial reports to provide insights on tax implications and strategies.
• Stay updated on current tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and provide informed advice.

Qualifications .

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or other related field.
• 2-5 years of previous experience in public accounting.
• CPA License preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Income Tax and QuickBooks experience.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
