Key Responsibilities:
1. Total Rewards System Development:
- Design and implement the company’s total rewards and benefits strategy in North
- America from scratch, including salary, bonuses, long-term incentives, and benefits
- programs, ensuring market competitiveness and internal equity.
- Develop compensation structures, performance bonus plans, equity incentive
- programs, and more to support the achievement of business goals.
- Conduct regular market compensation research to ensure alignment with industry
- standards.
2. Benefits Design and Optimization:
- Design and implement competitive employee benefits programs, including health
- insurance, retirement plans, paid leave, and more.
- Monitor benefits costs to ensure alignment with the company’s financial objectives.
3. Cross-Department Collaboration:
- Collaborate closely with HR, finance, and business teams to ensure the total rewards system aligns with the company’s strategic goals.
- Provide decision-making support to senior management on compensation and benefits-related matters, including adjustments, promotions, and bonus allocations.
4. Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure the total rewards system complies with local labor laws, tax regulations, and other relevant legal requirements in North America.
- Identify and manage compensation and benefits-related risks to ensure the company operates in compliance.
5. Team Management and Leadership:
- Lead the compensation and benefits team to ensure efficient operations and goal achievement.
- Provide professional guidance and training to enhance the team’s capabilities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources, Finance, Economics, or a related field preferred.
- 8 years of experience in compensation and benefits management, with 3 years in the retail, food and beverage, or related industries.
- Proven experience in building compensation and benefits systems from scratch.
- A strong background in well-known large companies (e.g., Fortune 500 or multinational corporations).
- Proficient in compensation and benefits design and data analysis tools, with experience in HRIS systems.
- Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to align compensation and benefits strategies with business objectives.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, capable of effectively engaging with employees and management at all levels.
- Fluency in both Chinese and English to support the company’s global business expansion.
