Project Manager – Engineering Department
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to coordinate the projects and activities of our Engineering Department. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams to coordinate project delivery on time and within budget. This Project Manager will report directly to the Engineering Director.
Qualifications:
· Attention to detail and accuracy
· Good verbal and written communication skills
· Strong team player, works effectively and efficiently in a collaborative Team environment
· Proficient in Office 365 & Microsoft Products, ERP knowledge helpful
· Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
· Experience in project management.
Position responsibilities:
· Project Planning: Assist in developing detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, resources, and budget. Support defining project objectives and deliverables.
· Project Management: Liaise with customers, vendors, and internal teams to gather requirements and provide updates on project progress.
· Quality Assurance: Ensure that all engineering outputs meet required quality standards and comply with regulations and specifications. Implement best practices and lessons learned from previous projects to enhance future project performance.
· Budget Management: Monitor project expenditures and manage budgets, ensuring financial objectives are met as well as monitoring travel budgeting.
· Reporting: Prepare regular status reports highlighting progress, challenges, and next steps.
· Documentation: Maintain detailed project documentation and handle any project changes or issues that arise. Create work instructions for engineering processes.
· HR & Time Management: Approve department timesheets and time off requests and ensure efficient use of time and resources to meet project deadlines. Schedule department employee’s evaluations and training programs.
· Scheduling: Coordinate schedules and meetings to ensure timely completion of project milestones. Prepare meeting agendas and take meeting notes.
· Other Duties as assigned.

Salary : $55,000 - $65,000
