Hotel Night Auditor

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Night Auditor to join our team at the Crowne Plaza in Shenandoah Texas. The Night Auditor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel during overnight hours. This position involves balancing financial transactions, providing exceptional guest services, and maintaining the overall security of the hotel. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Perform nightly audits of financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with hotel policies.
• Manage front desk operations, including check-ins and check-outs during overnight hours.
• Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise, ensuring a positive experience for all guests.
• Maintain accurate records of guest accounts and transactions, including billing and payments.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting guests with their needs and requests promptly.
• Monitor hotel security systems and respond to any emergencies or incidents as necessary.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations throughout the hotel.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a hotel or resort environment is preferred, particularly in roles related to front desk or guest services.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
• Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Knowledge of PMS system Opera is a plus; familiarity with accounting principles is beneficial.
• Ability to work independently during night shifts while maintaining attention to detail.
• A background in hospitality management or related fields is desirable but not mandatory.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week
