What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Intern Architect in Training position at Think Architecture?
Think Architecture Inc is seeking Full-time Summer Architecture Interns to join our office in Sandy, Utah. The ideal candidate will be enrolled in a NAAB accredited Architecture program, have strong BIM modeling and architectural design skills, communication skills and have at least completed their 3rd year of higher education of a NAAB accredited University.
Individuals will be responsible for specific technical design aspects of an assigned projects, including investigation, evaluation, and recommendation of problem solutions into architectural work product.
General Responsibilities:
• Responsible for assigned architectural production design and development.
• Develop and deliver and construction drawings and presentation drawings.
• Works closely with Job Captain, Project Manager and/or Project Architects to achieve client /project ambitions.
• Coordinate with consultants and teammates throughout project.
Qualifications Required Skills:
• 3 years of NAAB University with a minimum 3.5 GPA
• BIM experience and a portfolio is required.
• Must be a motivated self-starter with the ability to problem solve both individually and as a part of a project team and work well under Architects
• Proficient in the use of architectural production software, including Revit, Sketchup, Bluebeam, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
