Client Relationship Manager
We are seeking a Client Relationship Manager to join a growing Fintech client in the Baltimore area. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and expanding relationships with a growing client base, with a primary focus on asset managers. The CRM will play a critical role in onboarding clients, driving platform engagement, and securing renewals and upsells.
Hybrid: On-Site in Sparks, MD 3 days per week
Primary Responsibilities:
- Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with existing clientele.
- Collaborate with various client teams (such as RFP, Sales/Distribution, and Marketing) to grasp their requirements and practical applications.
- Methodically onboard and integrate clients onto the platform, ensuring ongoing engagement.
- Conduct platform demonstrations and updates for client teams, coordinating internally as needed.
- Drive client responsiveness and utilization of the platform.
- Handle client inquiries and support internal sales and CRM teams.
- Gather client feedback and collaborate with the technology team to innovate new services and tools.
- Lead strategic initiatives, identify fresh opportunities, and foster internal collaboration.
Required Qualifications:
- 5–7 years of experience in client-facing roles within SaaS, fintech, or investment management sectors (ideally in Client Success, Business Development, or Account Management).
- Familiarity with SaaS platforms, due diligence processes, and foundational knowledge of investment management (desire to learn is critical).
- Proficient in project management, converting client needs into actionable plans, and monitoring progress.
- Exceptional communication skills to forge enduring relationships and navigate diverse business landscapes.
- Proven track record in managing multiple client issues concurrently and negotiating effectively.
- Self-driven, process-oriented, with a passion for challenging norms and driving improvements.
- Pragmatic problem-solving abilities with a collaborative, team-focused approach.
