Position Summary :
The position of Field Construction Representative involves overseeing field-based construction activities in collaboration with Telecom third-party contractors. Responsibilities encompass a wide range of tasks, including civil site preparation, concrete foundations, underground conduit installations, and site grounding network testing. Additionally, the role may involve coordinating the installation of AC and DC electrical systems, tower and antenna systems, Telecom pre-fabricated equipment shelters, equipment racks, and various related demolition activities. The Field Construction Representative also provides support to the centralized Construction team by assisting with project tracking, field updates, site audit / inspection reporting, and other coordination duties under the guidance of more experienced employees. Ensuring a strong construction safety culture and facilitating the execution of client’s safety standards and practices are integral aspects of this role.
Responsibilities :
- Supervise and monitor the work activities associated with the field installation of Telecom sites, ensuring compliance with drawings, scope of work, permits, bidders response form, JSHA, and project summary sheets.
- Ensure that project workflow adheres to client Construction team standards and established practices.
- Review, prioritize, and facilitate construction activities to meet scheduled expectations.
- Demonstrate an advanced understanding of construction guidelines and OSHA standards.
- Coordinate the delivery of large materials and heavy equipment to the construction site.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues as needed.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to other field representatives regarding team roles and responsibilities.
