PROJECT DESCRIPTION : Think Tank is seeking an ideal candidate to be included in a proposal effort for an upcoming opportunity with the NYC Department of Social Services (DSS). DSS has a constant increased need for the provision of full systems life cycle applications development on various computer platforms, including a variety of client eligibility and recertification systems, employment / work engagement services, claims systems, etc., that are critical to the operation and functioning of DSS programs, requiring periodic refinements to maintain the applications at optimum service levels. Having a project portfolio which properly reflects the user's business needs and DSS' workload is crucial. Therefore, there is a need for IT consulting resources for the expanding responsibilities at DSS. If you are chosen for this position, we will subit your resumé with our proposal. Tasks & Duties
- Develop Database documentation
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of database designs, configurations, procedures, and best practices.
- Ensure documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure data quality and consistency across various systems.
- Perform Database Development
- Develop and maintain complex database systems ensuring data integrity, security, and performance.
- Design scalable and efficient database schemas based on application requirements and industry best practices.
- Develop and maintain SSIS Packages, Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers, SQL statements in MS SQL Server.
- Assists other developers in the team with database issues.
- Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to integrate data from multiple sources.
- Lead and manage database development projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to requirements.
