As an Event Specialist, you will collaborate with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and objectives while ensuring each event aligns with our brand values and enhances attendee experience.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate all aspects of events, ensuring they meet client specifications and expectations.
- Develop event proposals and budgets, ensuring alignment with client goals.
- Source and negotiate contracts with vendors such as caterers, venues, and entertainment.
- Manage event logistics, including timelines, setups, and breakdowns, to ensure smooth execution.
- Oversee the event staff, providing direction and support to ensure high-quality service.
- Perform on-site event management to address any issues that arise during the event.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in event planning and management, ideally in a corporate setting.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client and vendor interaction.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances quickly.
- Proficient in using event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
