Job Summary\
The Clinical Staff position at Think Whole Person Healthcare is responsible for coordinating and implementing care plans for patients under the direct supervision of a healthcare provider. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Key Responsibilities\
* Work with members of the healthcare team to coordinate patient care services, including preparation of patients for examination or treatment, gathering of information, and performing vital signs and screening procedures
* Ensure accurate documentation and maintain confidentiality of patient information
* Assist providers in collecting specimens using appropriate protocols and complete requisitions, label, and route specimens according to clinic protocol
* Maintain organization and cleanliness of examination rooms and ensure environmental and waste-conscious protocols are followed
Requirements\
* High school diploma or GED required; certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, etc.) preferred
* An active medication aid and American Heart Associate BLS/CPR certification required
* One year of experience as a Medical Assistant utilizing electronic Health Records (EHR) preferred
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities
Working Conditions\
This role operates in a healthcare setting requiring frequent standing, walking, and computer work. The employee must be able to stand 75% or longer of the workday, walk 15% or longer of the workday, and sit 10% of the workday. The employee may be required to lift and maneuver up to 35 pounds occasionally and bend, squat, kneel, and reach above shoulder level occasionally.
