We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant or LPN to join our clinical team. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will play a vital role in coordinating patient care services, ensuring accurate documentation, and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
Essential Responsibilities\
* Coordinate patient care services under the direct supervision of a healthcare provider
* Perform vital signs, height, weight, and screening procedures, documenting findings in the electronic health record (EHR)
* Ensure accurate documentation and maintain confidentiality of patient information
* Relay instructions to patients, schedule follow-up appointments, and promote timely patient flow
* Collect and/or assist providers in collecting specimens using appropriate protocols
Required Skills and Qualifications\
* High school diploma or GED required; certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, etc.) preferred
* An active medication aid and American Heart Associate BLS/CPR certification required
* One year of experience as a Medical Assistant utilizing electronic Health Records (EHR) preferred
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities

Work Environment\
This role operates in a healthcare setting requiring frequent standing, walking, and computer work. The employee must be able to stand 75% or longer of the workday, walk 15% or longer of the workday, and sit 10% of the workday. The employee may be required to lift and maneuver up to 35 pounds occasionally and bend, squat, kneel, and reach above shoulder level occasionally.
