Travel: Ability and willingness to be on-site locally (regularly) and regionally (semi-regularly). This is an on-site, field-based / work-from-home position and the successful candidate is expected to reside in the Chicago land area.

We have an exciting opportunity for a seasoned, talented, and collaborative literacy coach and curriculum partner to help us grow our implementation in the Louisville area and create a thriving community of ThinkCERCA users. This is an on-site, field-based / work-from-home position and the successful candidate is expected to reside in the Louisville area. The candidate should expect to be on-site regularly.

OPPORTUNITY

The Literacy Coach and Partnership Developer will be tasked with driving the growth of partner engagement and usage to achieve great student outcomes, through personalizing and co-creating a literacy plan in conjunction with the client and executing on that plan. The Literacy Coach and Partnership Developer is responsible for being an expert literacy resource for the client and will create and deliver assets such as, but not limited to, professional development at the teacher and school leader level and curriculum alignments. Additionally, the Literacy Coach and Partnership Developer will drive expanded use within and across districts in the region with ELA teachers and their teams in grades 3-12. Our Literacy Coaches and Partnership Developers are leaders within the ThinkCERCA organization and go the extra mile for their clients and students. This role in particular includes being part of an established team, so the desire to work with others and the ability to take direction is imperative.

You are a former elementary or secondary school teacher who is passionate about literacy for all students and are eager to join a fast-paced, growing organization where you have the opportunity to pair your pedagogical and curriculum knowledge with your impeccable organizational and time management skills. Not only do you have deep pedagogical knowledge, but you’re also a people person! You feel comfortable developing new relationships and find talking to almost anyone easy. You’re people savvy and can connect with anyone who comes your way… and you definitely aren’t afraid to knock on some doors! You have an established background in ELA, and you know the ins and outs of the Chicago Public Schools landscape in regards to literacy well because of your first hand experience. Your positivity is a super power as you overcome setbacks and obstacles with ease, and you are tenacious in achieving your goals.

In this role, you will

  • Be part of a team.
  • Support the onboarding process for school leaders and educators and drive successful adoption of the ThinkCERCA platform
  • Collaborate with various teams to develop custom best practice materials for Texas educators
  • Act as the customer advocate ensuring area educators' product and content requirements are communicated to the ThinkCERCA product, content, learning science, data science, and engineering teams
  • Ensure customer engagement through proactive professional learning opportunities, classroom visits, outreach, and training
  • Provide high levels of support (in-person visits, online chat, application support, meetings, etc) to ensure optimal user experience
  • Drive and manage key metrics related to implementation, partner satisfaction, partner engagement, and expansion opportunities
  • Support organization of online and in-person events to drive user engagement and fidelity to the school and district adoptions
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with school leaders and classroom-based educators
  • Support projects focused on identifying opportunities for growth and innovating to provide the right tools and processes for the customer success organization
  • Support fellow team members in their development and work together to provide the highest level of excellence in customer experience

  • Director of Regional Partnerships Executive Consultant Team (Senior Specialists)

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this role

  • In-person teaching experience; experience in Chicago Public Schools preferred.
  • 3-12th grade literacy knowledge; secondary knowledge and experience preferred.
  • 5 years of experience in teaching ELA (preferably a diverse range of students)
  • Curriculum development experience
  • District level or school level leadership experience a plus
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Highly organized, self-directed, and process-oriented with excellent analytical and pragmatic problem-solving abilities
  • Strong interpersonal skills - the ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels, facilitate discussions, understand partner needs, devise strategies, provide recommendations
  • Ability to diagnose customer needs and challenges, and to translate those needs into actionable solutions
  • Demonstrated service-delivery experience with educational SaaS solutions
